Between Tuesday morning and this afternoon, my eir 5G Wifi, aided by
snagging tree branches, decided to lose signals. So it went off on
Tuesday morning, before coming on again on Tuesday afternoon, and then
going off again yesterday morning and on again for a few minutes
yesterday afternoon, before crashing off for about 24 hours, until a
Broadband Support guy came around to inspect what was going on.
Eir led one to believe that it was 'adverse weather conditions' that was
the cause of outages in Cork and Kerry, in particular. Well, the answer,
my friend, was blowing in the wind: all right, Bob?
Yet, when the signal losses actually happened, it wasn't particularly
windy. Waterlogged in places, maybe, as it is nationwide.
