Well, that Absolute Absurd/Unacceptable/Attrocious Radio block has
been worked around! (Thanks to
RadioFeeds.co.uk.) I said to myself, on
reading the disgraceful FAQ on their so-called International Web site:
it'll only be a ma tter of time before someone breaks it.
I got at least two of the streams working (from the RoI).
Absolute 60s can be heard at:
http://icecast.timlradio.co.uk/a6128.mp3.m3u
- and
Absolute Classic Rock can be heard at:
http://icecast.timlradio.co.uk/ac128.mp3.m3u
.
In a similar way, you can deduce URL's for the streams for the other
channels; so that 70s would/could be a7128.mp3.m3u (after the main
link).
www.radiofeeds.co.uk
is a great source for and of streaming official radio stations in both
the UK and Ireland.
If Absolute were sincerely concerned or het up about their streams being
commercially viable in themselves, they would stop broadcasting those of
their streams (which are free to air) on satellite. (They haven't).
