Mid-January changes to the TV guide affect Sky subscribers in both the UK and Ireland, and both satellite and streaming customers

Changes to some of Warner Bros Discovery’s channels on Sky will trigger a reshuffle of services across Sky’s TV platforms during the week commencing 12th January 2026.

Sky has confirmed how its subscribers will be affected by imminent changes to services owned by Warner Bros Discovery (WBD). It follows confirmation that TLC will relaunch on Tuesday lunchtime, with a greater focus on comedy.
The changes will start on Tuesday 13 January, completing on Thursday 15 January.
On Tuesday, the newly revamped TLC goes live while HGTV closes. For satellite viewers, this means that TLC HD and TLC+1 will be no longer part of a Sky subscription.
Then on Thursday, WBD will reshuffle its channels, meaning there will be changes to channels including Quest and Discovery Turbo on satellite, plus Animal Planet, ID and DMAX on Sky Stream/Glass.
The exact number of changes to your Sky line-up will depending on where you live and which of Sky’s TV services you subscribe to.
