Dear volunteers,

It was great to see such a huge turnout today for our event at Hope Foundation. The event was a grand success. The kids enjoyed and had fun. We had fun.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single volunteer who turned up (not in any order): Venky, Vivienne, Ravindra, Pancham, Sricharan, Vinay, Swati, Nikita, Rinosh, Abhijeet, Rashmi, and Satyam.

We had a total of 92 kids, who were split into 4 groups and we conducted the same games with all of them :Pictionary, Dumb Cs, Quiz and Memory.

I thank everyone for their events, and I was happy to see the kids enjoying every bit of it. I could see that each event went on without any major hitches. Thanks to Ravindra and Pancham for their contribution in conduction Pictionary, Nikita and Rashmi for Dumb Cs and Memory game, and Sricharan for quiz. And a big thanks to everyone else who were running around to make sure everything went right.

I would like to point out that this was our first effort in conduction an event in the Bangalore Action Center after a long time. This definitely won't be the last. From the enthusiasm I saw with our volunteers today, I know we can conduct many more such events successfully in the coming days. We are already talking and planning about our next event. So, watch out for more emails and I sincerely hope each one of you will provide your time to make our events a success.

A complete event report (with pictures) will be sent out soon.
