There is many people that complaining about the game is hard, but i just restarted, and i am lvl 19 now. and i have killed all bosses until now, 2 lvls before i should. so the game isent that hard, if you do the right things.

I'm probably going to restart soon too. I'd like to build a more efficient character from the very beginning. But first one question. Does luck affect drop rates of good items? This time I went without it except for the +5 attribute skill and a couple scrolls, but I really got a bunch of useless junk most of the time.

I don't see why the difficulty of this game is a problem. Whenever I die, I would walk the path from the village to the quest location (rather than using the town portal). This means my HP should be restored by killing low-level monsters on the way thanks to the "recover HP by killing monster" bonuses, and I possibly collect some useful items such as crystals/stones for compounding and potions. After a few attempts I get enough EXP for a level up and enough material to compound my items to make them better. As for item drops, you seem to have the same drop rate from level 1 slimes as from level 35 centaurs, so if you want to farm for something, just find a place with lots of monsters to kill and keep returning there. Another thing I love is the energy wave skill (the one that shoots 3 bolts). It can poison enemies and hit many of them at once. Poisoning also improves the usefulness of the recover HP/SP bonuses.

I've played through the game 3 times now, and I personally haven't found the game hard. I quite enjoy it, and never really found it too difficult. My first playthrough I didn't even use berserk, or holy light. Hardly used any potions, and didn't use any of the stat potions until the final boss. I've also written an extensive guide that I've posted on another site. I might get around to posting it here as well, but I'm not sure if I will.

Has anyone found a green chest yet? I've been trying to, but no luck. They seem to be even rarer than gold chests.

But I assure you, there are no items of higher grade than gold. After finishing the game, I got bored and hacked the .sol save file a bit (don't ask me how because I didn't cheat at the game and I don't want anyone else to cheat); I've found that there are only three grades of items in the game (normal, blue, gold). And no matter how high your Luck and Drop Rate are, the rate of getting gold chests stay the same (I tried hacking my Luck to 50000, but still no luck finding green or even gold chests).

And no, green chests are not quest item chests. Quest items are in purple chests.

There is a huge amount of glitches in both Arcuz and Arcuz 2. Some of them are unique to either game, some of them work in both games. This is not a complete list of glitches in both games, only the generally useful and reproducible glitches are listed.

There are a variety of ways to dupe items in Arcuz and Arcuz 2. Generally duping will always rewrite the indentity of one item with and other one. Therefor you always need waste items, that get replaced by the duped items. Proceed with care, it is possible to lose items by accident, if you are careless.

The fastest way to dupe in Arcuz is to have a full first inventory page and open Susan compose tab, put the item you want to dupe into the composition menu or your equip slots. Sort your inventory so that you have a full page of waste item visible. Then switch the item you want to dupe with an item from your inventory and release that waste item inside the inventory page but not on a slot. By default this would sort it to the next free slot in the following inventory pages, but in doing it like this it also overwrites the items id resulting in a dupe. You can keep moving the item you want to dupe between different inventory slots sending the waste items to the next free slots, resulting in the abilty to dupe up to 20 items at once (a full inventory page). You can also enable this glitch with an item from your potion hotbar and switch the items you dupe midway with items from your first inventory page. Once you are done duping a page or parts of it, sort your inventory and all item ids will be correctly updated, completing the dupe. This dupe requires at least 21 items total to work, the dupe item and 20 items to fill an entire inventory page and it also does not work if your entire inventory is full. This dupe does not work in Arcuz 2.

The fastest way to dupe in Arcuz 2 requires you to use the Hero's Storage Chest or Kimuras Inventory. It also works with the Hero's Storage Chest in Arcuz in Chapter 3+, but is much slower then the aforementioned method for Arcuz. You put all the waste items in the Chest/Kimuras inventory. Then you pick up an item from your equip slots, switch it with a waste item, switch it back again, so that you have your equipment picked up and reequip it. Then you put the item you want to dupe on the same slot as the waste item you just interacted with. It will stack with the waste item. You close and open the Chest/Kimuras inventory, take both items out. The waste items id will be overwritten. To do this with multiple items at once, you will need to do the aforementioned item switching with your equipment item for every single inventory slot you want to dupe with. Since you will need to move items around so much this is much slower than duping in Arcuz.

The most obvious use of duping is to get infinite materials for composing. You can also dupe valuable items and sell them for more money, which is useful, since you will need to keep buying waste items to dupe as much as you want. Duping composing materials is straightforward enough. Keep in mind that all stackable items in Arcuz 2 can reach huge stacksizes if you dupe them repeatedly and merge them after every dupe. This makes it possible to farm djinns in Arcuz 2 without restrictions, once you get one as a drop somehow, since you can dupe the djinnstacks to infinity and also easily get huge amounts of money by duping valueable stackables such as holy stones or diamond archangel tears. In Arcuz the duping for money is more mundane, but since its also faster to do, you can get substantial amounts quickly in both games.

A less obvious use of duping is to make composes work that have a chance of failure. To do this you dupe the item you want to compose on beforehand and then save and quit the game and load back in. This is crucial. If you do not save and quit the compose results will be shared between all dupes which would include the potential fail. After reloading the game the items are treated as entirely separate and you can just throw attempts at the compose till you get it right or run out of copies in which case you make new copies from your last uncrafted item, save and quit to unlink them and throw more attempts until you get it right. Since more composes can fail in Arcuz 2 and duping is also slower in that game, getting perfect items like this will take much longer in Arcuz 2, compared to Arcuz.

This glitch is maybe the most potent glitch in the Arcuz games. If you open either the char or skillpanel with at least one point unspent you will be shown the accept button to confirm any investments you might make. This accept button will cause every value kept in the respective window to assume the current value as its new base value. For the Skill Panel this doesnt serve any practical purpose, you can avoid getting skill points by leveling up, and thats about it, by keeping it open as you level up and pressing accept after you level up. But with the Character Panel, this lead to some of the most broken behaviors in the both games.

If you keep the Character Panel open in battle and level up and press accept after you level up, you will not actually gain a level, but you will get a skillpoint. This allows you to gain infinite skillpoints, albeit slowly, since you will need to fill your exp bar entirely every single time.

This is prolly the most broken application of a glitch in the entire francise known to date. There are some potions that will change values inside the Character Panel while they are active. Archangel potions will change your HP and SP, Defense potions your defense, Attack potions your attack and magic resist potions your magic resist. If you use such a potion first and then keep the char panel open as it runs out and then press accept you will acquire the potionboosted stats as you new baseline of stats upon which you can now use more potions. Since the Archangel potion runs out on death as it revives you, you can quickly push your health to insane amounts, by dying and accepting the higher stats repeatedly. In Arcuz this also gives you obscene amounts of SP, while it reduces your SP in Arcuz 2, but you can easily invest in some constitution afterwards to compensate for this. For all other 3 potions you need to wait for them to run out, so you can not stack them as fast, but it still means infinite attack power and perfect magic resist, defense being irrelevant with infinite health. Moreover this glitch will entirely reset if you reload game (save and quit and reload, arenas via talking to Celeste in arcuz 2) or hit the accept button in the skill panel in Arcuz 2, locking you out of learning new skills while the potion glitch is in use in Arcuz 2.
