Isuppose it should be self-explanatory, but when I Google these words, it doesn't help. This is under the 'Advanced intelligence options' section of the S23 camera. The 'Scene optimiser' option is obvious, but what about this button? It includes 'Maximum', 'Medium', and 'Minimum' options.

The advanced Intelligence options in the Camera AI allow users to optimise image quality or prioritise faster shutter speed. in essence it is the degree of Artificial Intelligence utilised in photo processing.

@Paul Murphy; Scene optimiser effects are applied automatically (when the camera recognises a subject or scene, an icon will appear on the screen and the optimised colour will be applied automatically), whereas the Quality optimisation feature will kick in after the photo has been taken. In both instances, this will only affect images that are captured on the phone itself, and not downloaded photos from an external source.

Thanks Andrew. I may be a bit slow on the uptake here. However, that makes it seem as if when If use the 'Quality optimisation' option, say, two hours after taking the photo, then the photos still on my phone will be changed in accordance with that later selection. That would be a kind of personal editing done on the phone itself? Unless you mean something else by the words "Quality optimisation feature will kick in after the photo has been taken". .. In nay case, I'm still not sure how it affects the photos in an everyday non-technical sense.

@Paul Murphy: You don't need to worry about Quality optimisation affecting photos that have already been taken. The optimisation feature, if set to 'Maximum' or 'Medium' will only affect an image immediately after it has been taken. In some instances, depending on the resolution of the image, if you swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom then you will see a notification advising you that optimisation is currently taking place.

Getting Error code 202 when trying to use apps or do anything on my tv via wifi.. The strange thing is I get "connected to the internet" via wifi, but then trying to use Netflix, hulu, etc...it doesn't work...digging deeper I found that I "cannot connect to smart hub" because there is an "ip blocking the service. error code 202." Everything works fine when I hard wire a lan cable...but that's not practical for my setup.

This is what worked for me. Something about disconnecting every piece of equipment one by one and then powering back on one by one allowed the connections to be reestablished. Hope I can help someone else with these steps.

I have exactly the same problem as the "brandofosho". In my case, I have a smartv model QE55Q70TAT and the problem happened today. Unexpectedly. I have had this TV for 5 months and I have never had this problem.

I have already taken the same steps, presented by MihailEd and Brandsho. Unfortunately, to no avail.

From November until today, Bransho, did you solve the problem? tell me how?

Thanks

I have both Samsung Health and Google Fit connected to Strava, but the app will not sync to either of them. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Watch Pro 5 to record and a Samsung Galaxy S21+ phone to look at the different apps.

I've tried:

- Logging out and back in on Strava

Thanks for getting back to us. Only activities recorded after you link your accounts will be synced. For the other issue with new activities not syncing to Google Fit or Samsung Health, I'm going to ask you to please submit a support ticket and our Support Team will be happy to work directly with you to investigate what might be happening. Thanks so much.

Hi @Jane ! I echo the opinion we find here! I use Samsung Health and Watch6. Previously with my Garmin watch / Garmin Connect, ALL of my workouts were sync'd to Strava. Since I started using Samsung Galaxy Watch6 / Samsung Health, only GPS activities are synchronized. After being a long-time paid Strava subscriber, and making an expensive Samsung purchase, you can understand my concern and disappointment.

Can you tell us:

1. Why? (if possible)

2. Is this intentional, or is it a design deficiency?

3. Is there an open bug / feature request on this?

I really appreciate the help, as does everyone else reading this.

Thanks,

EG

All activities recorded on Strava show up in my feed, but do not sync to other apps. Also, there are no notifications suggesting there are any sync issues.

I've updated the journal tab several times over a few days without any change.

Are activities limited to after the accounts were linked? Will the applications not sync previously recorded data?

I just went on a swim using Samsung Health and I can confirm that it synced to Strava, but older activities do not seem to be syncing.

I have done some short start/stop tests on Strava making sure to get GPS before stopping the activity, but these still have not synced to Fit or Health.

As I mentioned in the first post, I've tried editing posts to see if that solves it but haven't had any luck.

You can confirm if your Strava account is successfully connected to Google Fit by opening your Google Fit app, going to Profile > Settings > Manage Connected Apps. You should see Strava listed under your connected apps.

If you find that your activity has not synced to Google Fit after using the steps above, it will be necessary to edit the activity on Strava in order to trigger the sync action. Once you save the activity again it should push over to Google Fit.
