Hello, I hope you are doing well.

I would like to ask whether it is possible to perform parametric analysis of context and geometry at the same time period? As I understood from tutorial videos of version 0.4 the frames of context animation and frames of geometry animation should not overlap. In this case what time period is considered for the frames where geometry is simulated?

In other words, my idea is to simulate a moving car with solar roof through the road with different shadig objects (buildings, trees etc.) over a certain time period (1 hour for example). I couldn't figure out the possibility of such kind of analysis.

Thanks very much in avdance.

Best regards,

HI.
In v0.7, and in v0.6 if I remember correctly, LiVi Geometry and LiVi Context frame ranges can overlap. The simulation will take the lowest and the highest frame of the two to define the whole simulation range. The LiVi Context node may need to be exported after setting the time range to see the Context upper frame value.
You may want to change Default Interpolation in the Animation section of Blender's preferences to Linear to get a consistent geometry change between frames.
