Wind simulation & heatmap for interior spaces.

Hi Ryan

I am an architecture student myself , looking for a way to make some sort of a different diagram for my studies, Ive looked around all addon that consist of analysis through out Blender but somehow yours looks more convincingh than the rest.

Ive read the manual but somehow I cant really get how to make the wind analysis for the interior space like the heatmap, pardon my english but I do hope there will be more tutorial on the environment analysis in your youtube channel so i can learn more on how to render out those metric legends as well as the sun path to be used on my architectural board

To simplify i need the ventilation , sunlight percentage tutorial and ways to bring out the sun path render and the shadowmap SVF metric chart.

Hi.

Not quite sure what you mean. 

If you simulate internal ventilation with EnVi you can heatmap visualise the hourly ventilation aperture flow rate with the heatmap node.

If you are doing internal wind simulation with FloVi there is no hourly data as the CFD simulation is steady-state. You can however plot out velocity etc. on planes with Paraview.

In terms of sun path you can render out the scene to image, and in terms of SVF you can render to image or export the data as CSV file.

Hi, 

Regarding on rendering out the sunpath. I tried rendering it manually through the cycle but somehow the longitude and all the suns and fonts is not shown in the render. How do i make it diagrammable , i meant by rendering it out to be put in my architectural board for instance.

Sorry , once again.

Heres the preview on what im working on , Ive tried using the uh VI CSV Export to render out those legends but its in google sheets , so is there any other way to make it look exactly like we have in the preview renderport?

As well as the sunpath , im trying to render it out in my render batch as well but i cant seem to find a way to render it out .
