Morning Ryan, long time no see. I hope your student and yourself are doing well for the uprunning for the semester exams. Just wanted to ask a general question, so please dont take this as a future request as i am sure not many have the same needs as i.

I was curious if there would be a radiance command that i can use to get the vertical angle. In Norway we still use a hand calculation where we do consider this angle, much like the old BR209 Methode. I can however see that in the latest BR209 it seems this Methode has been phased out.

I would have loved to see a way to just add quick grids to the window, run the angle check and feel i have more control. Is any of the radiance command valid as there would be only a check for obstruction for the sky dome?

Hi Ole.
There is no simple Radiance way that I know of. You might be better off using other addons such as MeasureIt (which comes included with Blender) with will give you an angle visualisation based on three vertices.
Cheers
Ryan
