Per agreement, i were to post this on the forum here, rather than the bugfix at github, as the main issue was fixed and resolved.

i was curies, as we now have the sam ARCH file as to what makes your preview of the radiance image results in a much clearer manner, compared to what get. It makes me want to peer review if i have the overall correct settings to start my glare studies. Was it a specific setting you used  to get your results? With regards to the shades i can observe on the roof, is it a time point within a climate file you run? I am still a bit new to all settings, what i can observe is i have the preview window, whilst you seem to have run something else.

You just have to adjust the exposure of the view as rvu is trying to display an HDR image on an LDR display. As you have an outside scene with high brightness this whites-out the display.
I don't have a windows machine in front of me but if you put 'e' into the dialog box and press submit (you may have to twice for some reason) to will ask you to pick a point in the image to normalise the exposure. Pick a bright point and the image will darken, pick a dark point vice-versa. I guess you can do this with the exposure menu option but I've never used it.

Thank you for your guidance as always. It made me look in the correct settings. Wish that the natural setting was set as standard as it is a bit enjoying to have to manually change it.

Btw, i do recall you needed some resources for teaching glare according to the EU daylight standard. I have made several reports now from projects with the simplified Methode, so anytime you feel a need to get accsess to this i am more than happy to share so your lectures can cover more topic.
