Greetings!

I have installed VI Suite into the addon folder for the latest version of Blender 2.79 rc2.  I also have the latest python script and psutil installed on my computer. I am using Ubuntu 16.04.

However, when I go to activate the addon through the Blender user interface, I get the attached traceback error.  I'm an Architect and not super familiar with python, but I am eager to get this addon to work as is extremely useful for the line of work I do.

Any guidance on how this can be resolved would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi Natalie.
Funnily enough the last poster was trying to get it to work on the Ubuntu 16.04.
There are probably two Python installations on your computer: the one that comes with Blender and the one on your system. If you follow my instructions for the previous poster that will install all the dependencies you need in Blender's Python folder except for psutil which doesn't work by that method. Instead copy the psutil folder from the system's python directory to Blender's one and you should be good to go.
If that does not work you could try renaming Blender's Python folder and seeing if Blender then looks for and finds the system Python installation.
