Dear Pathfinder:

It won’t be long until the Pinewood Derby Rally on November 12 at Union Springs

Academy beginning with Sabbath School at 10 am and Worship at 11:15 am. The

afternoon will begin with working on this year’s honor at 2:00 pm.  Vespers will be at

4:30 pm and supper and derby set up will be at 5:15 pm

We will have very much the same format as we have had in the past.  This year we will

be working on the Endangered Animals Honor.  This will be lead by Pastor Dan and

Lisa Whitlow.  We should be able to complete most or all of the requirements of the

honor in the time that we have.

The Race will begin around 5:30 pm with the check in process, we should be able to get

right to it this year without delay.

We are looking for some help with the judging and race car handling, if you have staff

that could help let us know.  Derek is managing the judging, I am managing the race set

up.

The rules have not changed from last year.  If you want to check the rules the web

As usual you are on your own for lunch if you want to eat in the cafeteria you must

make arrangements and get approval before the day of the Derby - no drop ins, no

surprises.
