I made a mistake with dates in my last mail. Aravind Eye Hospital is scheduled for August 14. Please forward this to the class

We will have Service Design & Quiz 2, as originally planned tomorrow.

Questions are:

Group 3

1. Can you identify the key factors that have led to Aravind's success?

2. What has Dr. V.'s role been in all this?

3.How do you evaluate the quality of service at the free hospital?

Group 4

1.How do you evaluate the quality of service at the paying hospital? 

2. What has been the role of Aravind's clinical and support staff in all this? Are they dedicated and altruistic or do they have an ulterior motive?

3. Are there any weaknesses at all with the Aravind model of delivering eye care?

Group 13

1.         How are its satellite hospitals at Tirunelveli (best labeled T-Valley) and Theni doing?
   
2.         How are its eye camps performing?
3.         How should Dr. V. expand the Aravind model to other parts of India, Asia, and Africa?
