M G PARK DEVELOPMENT NEWS.

Dear members,
Seasonal Greetings to you all!!

You will remember, exactly a month ago we took possession of the
nagar’s Mahatma Gandhi Park by celebrating our independence day 2009.

The first step of this initiative has been completed by fencing it. To
develop further, we need cooperation from all.

We would be planting 25/30 tree saplings close to the boundary on all
sides. A walker’s trek needs to be developed all along the sides by
the row of trees. The “Park Development Fund” collected from our
beloved members and donors will be spent for this purpose.

Also I propose to plant some flowering plants and multicolor CROTONS
at designated points, suitably protected from cattle population. In
this activity, I would like to involve you all. Most of us have a
decent garden at home, you may please consider donating and sponsoring
2 such Crotons or Flowering plants in Earthern pots out of your home
collection, to beautify our MG Park.

May I request each one of you to persuade your neighbours who have not
yet contributed Rs. 500/- as agreed upon in our management committee,
to the PARK DEVELOPMENT FUND.

I take this opportunity to offer my sincere thanks to all those who
contributed to the FUND and especially the DONORS for their
generosity.

Keep the tempo of the good work going!
