usb modem using CentOS 5.5

 Hi All,


I am using CentOS 5.5 but i am unable to connect usb modem .

Please file the below out put.
# lsusb

Sorry, no modem was detected!  Is it in use by another program?
Did you configure it properly with setserial?

What it not working? What steps have you tried?

You are using Huawei E1552 Model USB dongle & above link should help you.

You can also try latest Fedora OS for your modem. It should work out
of the box! ;)

Download and install Huawei rpm by using following link
after installation do modeprob
then check modem detected or not using dmesg command says converted modem or something like this 
now made changes accordingly in your wvdial.conf
