back route in linux

Hi,

I need to configure back route in linux please guide me.

my network setup:

linus server eth1: wan ip
eth0 : lan
10.10.10.1
-
-
-
wifi D-Link router
wan port -- 10.10.10.2

Lan raange 192.168.0.2-254 , gw 192.168.0.1



My issue is that at my lan side after wifi router , i have a laptop
and couple of computers , which have 192.168.0.0 range ips.from them ,
they can use internet , they can ping to server ip and all the working
process is doing well.

But from server i m not able to ping 192.168.0.0 series ips.

so please guide me for the same.

as per my current route are:

route -n
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref
Use Iface
192.168.0.0 10.10.10.2 255.255.255.0 UG 0 0
0 eth0
10.10.10.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0

Hi Rocky,

Why have you mentioned your Gateway for LAN range to be 10.10.10.2?

Change your sub-net mask and try it.

Hi,

i tried by your suggestion with class b mask but it is not working.i
can ping from clinet to server.But can't from server to client.because
between server and client i have normal switch and wifi router.So i
need to add route for it.But i don't know where i m wrong.my route is
not working for ping connectivity.
