Got SERVFAIL reply of DNS

Dear All

we hare having a dedicated lease line of 1 mbps of bsnl and got three statc i.p.

recently i have purchase a ymcworld.in domain and try to set up dns server but it gives the following error

[root@ns1 mnt]# nslookup ymcworld.in
;; Got SERVFAIL reply from 218.248.240.179, trying next server
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

You have new mail in /var/spool/mail/root
[root@ns1 mnt]#


for further reference i have attached a following file.

named.conf and two zones files.

this the dns server i.p provided by isp

Hi Yogesh,

They didn't allowed your IP address to use it as name server that is
the reason you are getting this error, ask to your ISP that allow my
IP address for DNS query or you can you root DNS IP address like
4.2.2.2.

i have already contact isp and after adding the entry of my dns server i think the problem may resolve..

Did you configured ns server at domain you purchased from?
