ask vmware team to have additonal disk.
To scan the additional.disk in runtime:-

# for i in 0 1 2 3 4 5: do echo "- - -" /sys/class/scsi_host/host$i/scan; done
# ls - ld /dev/sd*

# pvresize /dev/sdname....then vgextend ...do resize2fs

Hi,

First create snapshot and new volume with new size.

Attach the volume to existing vm and if necessary run resize3fs if it is ext3 or ext4. grow_xfs in case xfs.

Thanks and Regards.
