SVN Problem

Hello Experts,

As per subject i have install and configure SVN server on RHEL 6.3 with SVNmanager. svnadmin command working fine locally but now problem is there that when i fire any svn command then got a error as per mention below:

[root@svn ~]# svn st
svn: warning: '.' is not a working copy

I have also search on Google and follow some links but still problem is there and SVNmanager also not working.

pl guide me what i do

I hope you have done 'svn checkout' or 'svn update' before running 'svn status'.

Check whether ".svn" hidden directory exist from where you are trying to run svn commands.

Hello Nirmal Sir,

Thanks for reply. when i have run  "svn update" command i have found below status:

[root@svn svn]# svn update
Skipped '.'

 and when i have run 'svn checkout' command i have found below status:

[root@svn svn]# svn checkout
svn: Try 'svn help' for more info
svn: Not enough arguments provided

and where from i run this command .svn hidden directory is available.

You did not provide SVN repository of path to directory which you need to check out. Check following link for some basic SVN commands, which may fix your issue.
