Not access FTP site using squid

Dear All

 

We r configured one ftp server with so many different users. And it is working fine

 

But my problem is that when i try to acess this or any ftp site from proxy it will give following error.

An FTP authentication failure occurred while trying to retrieve the URL: ftp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/

Squid sent the following FTP command:

PASS <yourpassword>

and then received this reply

Login incorrect.

If i remove proxy server from my browser then it will asking for username & passwd by by using proxy it will show me the above error.

I also try with ftp://username:pas...@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/  & ftp://user...@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/ But still problem is same. 

I am using  squid 2.6 on RHEL 4, And also try from both mozilla 3 as well as IE 6 still i get same prob.

I also disable in squed.com 

# TAG: ftp_passive 
# If your firewall does not allow Squid to use passive 
# connections, then turn off this option. 
# 
#Default: 
# ftp_passive on 

And same on browser side but problem still remains same. 

Can anybody tel me what can i do for acess ftp site by using proxy.

try with windows explorer it will work..

i think you didn't got me windows explorer means open my computer and
write your link name where you see C:/XXXXXX whatever

if you just want to acces your ftp download and upload do this man
