I removed the countdown, added the link to Invest.in, and re-worded things to encourage people to keep up the good work.

We need to really keep up the tweeting, FBing, everything. I should even do more blogging (I'm taking volunteers to help with that, heck, if we blog regularly that might even catch on! We can write things about the wonderful plans we have! And we can even write about the wonderful things that we can do with our newly mobilized online network!!)

Ordinarily I don't like to use that many exclamation marks, but, in this case I'll make an exception.

The core members are in this Google group, and we're the ones to carry on with the contagious enthusiasm. Go team!

I welcome suggestions, etc. on the website content. I'll try to think up some additional things to do that will keep things fresh and relevant. I know that banner will be a big deal, (and we need the web url to be BIG on there : ) ... I'd love to contribute, but my significant other just started a nonprofit corp to improve South Seaward and -- who knew having one of us not getting paid (yet spending bunches of money) would be so hard? So all I can offer is my enthusiasm, and web stuff -- lots of web stuff.

I am also thinking now that we should just start SEO’ing the heck out of this site. So anytime someone Googles Google Fiber or Ventura we are very likely to show up number 1. I will have Justin work on getting that our site fully optimized. Thank you Karen for your hard work on the site. We need to make a spelling change real quick on the most recent content in the last sentence.

Would a linkedin account be relevant? Maybe that way we could get to some of the higher end business contacts?

Like Karen, I cannot contribute financially, but my mind races at a million miles an hour for things like this.
