Weekly Theme Submit Problems

When I try to submit an image to the weekly theme i get this error:
The image you submitted could not be retrieved. Hot-linking or a
similar service may be blocking access to the image or the image is
simply not located at the URL path you specified.
If you have entered a manual image URL, make sure the path has .jpg or
a similar image extension at the end.
I know that I can hotlink my images but after a few retries this
problem seems to persist.
I think I'm not the only one because there is no picture posted.

I have the same problem. And there are 0 photos added. What happens?
