138a:0007 scanner for EliteBook 8540w

Hi, my computer is an HP EliteBook 8540w with a fingerprint scanner
having id 138a:0007.

My results in running the compiled code are similar to those of
penguin359. I have posted them at the bottom of this email.

I have written some Python scripts and generated plots of the URB
messages that I would like to contribute to this project, if desired.
Would I be able to join as a contributor?
