In October 2021 we launched the Oxford Climate Journalism Network, an initiative that works with a global community of reporters and editors across platforms and beats to improve the quality and impact of climate coverage around the world. Its flagship programme is a six-month online course for practising reporters from all beats who share a passion for improving the coverage of the climate crisis.
Time to apply. Applications are now open for the third intake of the network, whose members will be joining our community from January to June 2023. Members will participate in a six-month online programme with access to world-leading experts, dedicated workshops and the support of 100 colleagues from all continents. This course is not only for climate specialists. It is designed for reporters from all beats, desks and formats that are interested in improving their coverage of climate change.
How to apply. You should complete a short application form and provide a signed letter from your editor confirming you have their support in applying for the Oxford Climate Journalism Network. This letter should explicitly state that your organisation will allocate time for you to participate in our activities and should be in a PDF on company letterhead.
