Dear Virtual Fly Brain Team,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Andre Ferreira Castro,
and I am a research scientist working with Albert Cardona. I am writing
to report a significant issue I've encountered on the Virtual Fly Brain
platform, specifically regarding the larval TNT volume accessible
through the link: https://iav-tnt.catmaid.virtualflybrain.org/.

It appears that the image stacks from this volume are not loading
correctly. Upon further investigation, I found that this issue stems
from the server at Janelia being decommissioned.

I noticed a precedent for this type of issue where a similar problem was
efficiently resolved. Specifically, the server originally hosting the
Frarobo volume was replaced with one from VFB, as evidenced by the
operational link: https://iav-robo.catmaid.virtualflybrain.org/?pid=1.
This solution not only restored access to vital data but also ensured
the continuity of research activities reliant on these resources.

Given the successful resolution of the previous server issue, I kindly
request that a similar action be taken to address the current problem
with the larval TNT volume. Replacing the decommissioned Janelia server
with a VFB server would not only rectify the loading issue but also
reinforce the reliability of the Virtual Fly Brain platform for its user
community.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your ongoing support
of the research community. I look forward to a resolution and am
available for any further information or assistance you might need.

Warm regards,
Andre

Dear Andre,

Thank you for letting us know about this issue. The iav-tnt image stacks should now be loading correctly. It should be the default now, but you may need to select 'VFB' in the 'stack mirror' dropdown.

Please let us know if this has not resolved the issue.

Regards,

Alex
