Our apologies: We are reaching out to the broad community of Open Data Repositories via multiple channels. Should you receive this invitation several times, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Dear sir or madam,

What will the realities be for the Swiss research community by 2024? The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and swissuniversities need your perspective.
The national Swiss research funding agency (SNSF) and the Rectors' Conference of Swiss Higher Education Institutions (swissuniversities) are currently conducting a survey on the use of data repositories by the Swiss research community.

In September, we asked the Swiss research community to describe their practises of sharing and reuse of Open Research Data. More than 1500 scientists accepted our invitation and provided data from over 200 disciplines.
Now we'd like to add the perspective of the Open Data Repositories used by this community.
Therefore, we invite you to share information regarding a repository relevant to the Swiss research community through participation in our web-based survey.
In case you cannot provide an overall view on building, running and governing a research data repository, please forward this invitation to the management of the repository you work with. You can also help to strengthen the study by forwarding this survey to other repositories.

The participation in this survey is voluntary and your responses will be saved in anonymous form. The data will be provided initially to the researchers involved for their analysis, but later will be open for other researchers to conduct further analyses.

The survey (https://www.surveymonkey.de/r/6NY2KPT) will close on October 22, 2018.
The study is neutral, and participation is not dependent on whether you are receiving SNSF funding or have applied for it.

Thank you very much for your time.
Best regards,
Dr. Markus von der Heyde
