Hello, This is Hayun Park from Hanyang University( Anmo Kim's lab) in Korea.

First of all, thank you for the awesome database. It really helped me and my colleagues in understanding the brain and neurons we are studying.

I am looking for any tools that I can use to search other lines that contain the region of interest that I selected.

For example, I would like to find a list of the lines that share a similar marked area with SS02256 on the adult brain. I have looked for the VT017411 and VT017411 which are AD and DBD parts of the split gal4 lines. But what I'm looking for is the LexA lines.

I was originally considering downloading all the VT line and GMR line images and go through them with Matlab image search code. However, since it takes lots of time, I thought it would be nice to ask if there is any other ways to solve it.

If you guys have search tools for related images, or any better idea to solve the problem, I would greatly appreciate any advice you would be willing to give.

best regards,
Hayun Park

Hi Hayun,

Neuronbridge has a neuron search function

1. click "Color Depth Search results" in any of your interested channels from here: https://neuronbridge.janelia.org/search?q=VT017411https://neuronbridge.janelia.org/search?q=VT017411
2. click just any of the search results, then you can select Mask & Search (attached image 1)
3. draw ROI on the screen and run a search!

Thank you,
Hideo
