Dear Virtualflybrain,

We would like to use a representation of fly brain to include in a review article. This representation would be an adaptation from many images extracted from virtualflybrain.org

Would you help us figure out what would be the steps to obtain permission to use these images?

Looking forward to your response,

Best,

Antony Boucard

Hi Anthony,

All images on VFB are available under various open source licenses but all require attribution of the original data providers publication or resource. You just need to ensure that you site both VFB (http://www.virtualflybrain.org/site/vfb_site/about_us.htm#citation) and each of the data sets that you have used (http://www.virtualflybrain.org/site/vfb_site/image_data_downloads.htm).

Thanks,

Rob
