Old Farts Swap

Gang,

this is not a traditional pattern, maybe a variant of the killer bug.
Anyway, when I started to fish my ff home water (the Erft, close to
Cologne), I met someone on the river banks and he showed my this nymph,
which catches a lot of fish (he said so...).

I ty it in some variations, call it my Erft Nymph - however, maybe I
should call if The Old Fart from now on. the chap some 30 years ago was
old, I'm old now....

It is:

Scud hook, sz 8 (can ty smaller for sure as well)
Orange thread
Some lead wire for weight
Grizzly hacke, from a flatwing saddle (Guess, where this is from..)
Orange or in this case Wapsi Crawdub burnt Orange (Still some left from
one of the sowbug visits)

Sometimes I add a bead or use a grizzly hen neck (should be grizzly at
least)
