Am seeing a lot of long and lofty emails on teamwork but its just not being practiced…for instance …

Who sent the project form out please? (although its great it went out) And more importantly whose numbers are these (9833480329, 022-40043705) and who decided these numbers should be in this email ? How come nobody has courtesy informing me considering I have spent hours developing this form ….or its just like the T-shirts people talk abt VFABI teamwork but continue to do what they want without keeping team in the loop

We continue to do whatever we wish … and we seem to have a lovely habit of “talking” about being at team   ……

1. ….Teamwork is ALWAYS answering “every” email one is supposed to …and not only when one chooses to….

2.……..Teamwork is ALWAYS keeping the whole team in the loop of what you do … before doing it and not after you have done it ! (This project form for instance or having a tea party meeting at the center and letting an email go out to all Mumbai or printing tshirts, banners …3 instances of no teamwork all in a matter of 15 days )

Teamwork is not about “ euphoric lofty talks”  its  about our actions

Subject: Fwd: Project form

Dear All,

As you may have seen our earlier mails this morning, VFABI Mumbai has gained momentum in its activities and lot is coming up to look forward to.The time has come when each one of us can whole heartily contribute to  Gurudev's vision of a Just,Peaceful and Prosperous India. By working hand in hand with Mumbaikars and inspiring them to give two hours of service for the city .

As we all know Art of living Volunteers and teachers have already been working tirelessly with this vision since last many many years. One area that we can improve upon is that we also start showcasing our good work, for the entire world to see. And the good news is that with VFABI Mumbai we can do the same. Let the world see the army of our master touching upon millions of lives everyday and feel inspired from.Wouldn't that be nice!

And for doing this there is a simple process to follow.

1) Attached is a Project form of Mumbai VFABI . Any charitable activity/ projects that we take up for the welfare of Mumbai and its citizens for which,if we fill this form and send vfabi....@gmail.com it will be listed on the VFABI Mumbai website. For example - a nav chetna will be showcased as a FREE- Yoga and Meditation workshop for the underprivileged, Satangs in Slums can be showcased as - A Musical hour for rejuvenation for the underprivileged, Medical camps, feeding the slums, education etc etc can all be listed. The Six major categories that we have divided our activities are Environment-Clean and Green, Education, Health and Hygiene, Child and Women safety, Good Governance and Voice against corruption ,Welfare of senior citizen.

2)In the last 2 months any such activities that you have done, you can also fill a project form for that completed activity, add a few supporting pictures(mandatory) and testimonies(optional) and send to us. These will be showcased in VFABI Mumbai past activities.

3)For the activities scheduled in near future it is important that we break them in 2-2 hour formats so that other non Aol Mumbaikars can join us. VFABI Mumbai's message is 'Give 2 hours to the city". If these activities are listed with us we can then start informing Non AOL VFABI members to also join us for service during those 2 hours.

If we can start using these project forms it will become a synchronized effort and showcase a lot to the world. The power of Sangachattvam.

If you have any query regarding the same please feel free to call us(9833480329, 022-40043705) and we will guide you further .

Looking forward for your active participation.

Team

( Volunteer For a Better India)

I sent that communication from Vfabi.mumbai .

This project form was already approved by you Shibani.

I am handling the website content and I need that content to showcase something worth while on the website to make it look impactful . Also a lot of service work is happening around Mumbai that we are loosing out on.

I visited Dharavi and got to know multiple medical camps that have happened in last 1 month. This is great work that our teams are doing and must be showcased on the website.

1 number is of VFaBI office and other of a volunteer who is at the office most  of the times and she has trained to fill those forms and upload them on website.

Also I copied that mail to VFaBI google group I have no clue why we all did not receive it. I apologise for that .

Jai Gurudev
