hello bolt hope your well.. can you tell me if this will work with windows vista home basic 32-bit 2007, am trying to download windows live Essentials but am not right sure in which version to get it so it works for mine, am not right good with computers and stuff, kind regards paul

Thank you! New HD, installed win7, lost win live gallery. I really like the import features, simple, photos are separated and grouped by date and duration during the import. I have struggle to find a photo import that did not tag everything on the flash drive the same. Glad to have this simple program back. Thank you!
I included the first links for those interested to see how they are related to the links that actually deliver the files. The Archive is a fabulous resource but how it works in this case is not at all clear to me. Sorry the language selection is so Eurocentric; I could only spend so many hours diddling with it. Hi Leo I tried upload to my older comp. with windows 7 antivirus program from eset and have problem . In red comes message ( the signature of this program is corrupt or invalid ) . What can I do to resolve this issue . Appreciate your answer . Thank you .
i have the same problem as gus but mine is with any pictures i want to send, from outlook how do you reconfigure imap

In my experience, using the GUID to uninstall a piece of software only works on the specific computer. Because of that I built a custom vbs array uninstaller that loops through the MSI display names and executes the .Uninstall silently. But beware, there is a component of the windows live that prompts a reboot in the middle of the uninstall.
The instructions for removing Windows live Essentials can be found on the Microsoft Web Site, simply look for Support and Search for Uninstall Windows Live Essentials.
If Microsoft follows through on its promise and delivers clients that are truly service agnostic, the Windows Live tools will make using different online services seamless and transparent. Given its continued dependence on the desktop, these rich desktop applications are an essential way of making online services a complement to the Windows experience, and not a competitor to it.
I don't know whether there is a way to extract individual programs from the installer to only install those; if there is, let me know in the comments. Windows 7 (and maybe 8) users who want to use some of the programs included in windows Live Essentials can download the package and install it on their devices to use them.
This one has me stumped, I've been troubleshooting the issue for about a week and still no resolution. Whenever the user clicks on "new email" or tries to reply to another email, a window will pop up briefly and then WLM will crash. I have tried recreating their account, a clean install of both essentials 2012 and essentials 2011 (both had the same issue) and I also uninstalled the anti virus. All of which did not help at all. The software is working fine for other users on the network.

Windows Live Mail is actually a part of Windows Live Essentials ( -us/windows-live/essentials ). Windows Live Essentials includes other program such as Photo Gallery, Writer, Microsoft SkyDrive, Messenger, Family Safety, and Movie Maker. You can either install all of these programs or choose the programs you want to install during the install process. In most cases you will have to download and then install Windows Live Mail. It does not come pre-installed on the computer.
