i've been following the mail list discussions, and there seems to be progress being made but also lots of points of debate and discussion on items that are not on the release list check list that was posted a while ago.

Could I request an over all view/opinion on where the current development branch is in terms of release ready.

I'm going to do a test migration from an old exim install, but I'm curious to get some feed back

Good idea to push this issue a bit. I think we are not far from a release. What needs to be checked are the migration scripts. Then there are some smaller discussions about the default behaviour with rDNSLookup (#129), DNSBL (#127) and SSL (#45). The documentation needs some care as well, I started on some smaller things, hopefully I can finish this soon.

I tagged some stuff with 2.3.1 which haven't been tested well. I didn't have the time to look into it, there are small changes to the code, the database is not touched, so we can easily add this later and we don't have to delay the release.

So just have a look into the stuff tagged with 2.3, check if it is working for you and hopefully we can release the new version very soon. We need to move on for vexim 3.
