Hello

and another one  ;)

If i try to add more then one recipient in the  forward to  text field of a account , separeted by a  ,  it wont work and gives the error  message
em...@adresse.01, em...@address.02   is not a valid emailaddress.

former i added in that way  :  em...@adresse.01, em...@address.02  and it worked fine

Is there another  text separator needed  or is this kind of format  not possible anymore ?

Or is there another reason to  forward mails to more then one recipient in the  Vexim Webinterface ?

Tanks for help

Harry

Hi,

we use the filter_var()-function
(https://github.com/vexim/vexim2/pull/77/files) to check for valid mail
addresses. In the comments on the official doc you find a few
RFC-compatible addresses that are refused:
http://php.net/manual/en/function.filter-var.php

Are you getting this error with any mail address or only for some with
special characters or internal domains (e.g. example.local)?

Hello

Thanks for the fast reply

I get this error with any emailadresses . i  avoid special chars in emailadresses and i dont use internal domains .

In a  printing factory   i have the adress  copy...@printers.at
I want to forward  that emails to  2 other accounts to, copyshop keeps the mail.
prep...@printers.at and  off...@drucker.at  , drucker.at is the same company but other domain.

If i type in copyshop account , in the forward field : prep...@printers.at,off...@printers.at   i get the error  is not a valid emailadress
In the dropdown i can choose only one  address for forwarding and within same  Domain.

I used this syntax in older Vexim version without  problems.

I can do it by groups but then i need to restructure all affected accounts

Hi,

this works perfectly on mail aliases and forwards. On IMAP/POP-accounts
you can't forward to several addresses. I just forgot about that.

I created a bug report in the bug tracker:
https://github.com/vexim/vexim2/issues/154

I will try to make a fix this week. If you need a quick solution, you
can create the forward to one address only. This should work and
validation should be possible. Then go to the database, the forward
addresses are stored in the field "forward". You can add a list of mail
addresses, separated by a comma and without space:

us...@example.org,us...@example.org

Inputs to the selectbox override the manual input in the textbox.
