I'm currently writing my own tabs app for banjo. From what I've seen in the VexTab tutorial http://vexflow.com/vextab/tutorial.html - it pretty much has everything I'd need for a banjo tab. I don't want to re-invent the wheel. I'd be happy to contribute if something is not there.
