slides into a note with no value origin or note value

Slides often don't have a specific origin or note value, it's just the act of sliding into a note or away from a note that's important. Is there any way to represent that in vextab? It seems like the slide has to come from an existing note, is that true?

Not in VexTab, so it's probably worth adding a feature request on GitHub.

You can do this directly with VexFlow, by sliding between a note and a
ghost note.
