Lectures on auditory modeling

Dear colleagues,

as announced earlier, I will offer a set of four lectures on the hearing system and auditory models. The lectures will be on July 17, 21, 22 and 23 at 16.30-18.00 hours, respectively (room to be announced).

The first lecture on July 17 will provide an overview and should be interesting for everybody having a general interest in the hearing system and the approach of auditory modeling. The block of lectures in the week starting July 21 then goes into more detail and addresses people having a more specific interest in auditory models. The preliminary topics are:

July 17: Overview of the hearing system and auditory modeling
July 21: The Cochlea and models of spectral selectivity
July 22: Periodicity tuning
July 23: Amplitude modulation processing and binaural processing

Climent and I thought it would be better to have the lectures in a block format. Please let me know in case you have any difficulties with the dates.
