The Government shutdown is causing low income families to have great uncertainty about where they will get their next meal.

SNAP Helps 1.2 Million Veterans With Low Incomes, Including Thousands in Every State.

According to the Department of Agriculture, 11 percent of veterans aged 18 to 64 experienced food insecurity in 2015-2019. 

Veterans were 7 percent more likely than non-veterans to experience food insecurity. 

Write and ask Congress to work together and reopen the Government.
