A couple steals VA benefits from a disabled veteran and family member they were acting as fiduciary for. Over $120,000.00 embezzled, and this occured over more than 10 years.
Question: Does the VA even check up on and review who they appoint as Fiduciary? Or do they just hand a fist full of money to people and are done with it? It seems the latter.
