Dear Sir,
I need some information to answer the following questions raised by some of my ESM colleagues. May I request you for help in this matter? Digital copies or links to relevant sites/ documents also are requested.
An unmarried daughter of ESM is entitled to pension after demise of the ESM and spouse. Clarifications required:
1. Is a divorced daughter eligible?
2. If she is in live-in relationship and has children but is not married, is she eligible?
3. If she has taken citizenship of another country but has OCI card is she eligible?
4. Does her present income matter in this regard?
5. Will her pension be deposited in the NRO/NRE account (as she can not have usual saving acct in Indian bank)?
6. What is the procedure and what documents is she required to submit? Can it be organised by the ESM and spouse well in advance to avoid inconvenience to the daughter?
Thanking you.
Yours sincerely
