It’s a very important ruling from ECHS , At our advancing age none of us can affort to lose the Medical cover being provided by ECHS to us the Members.

Dear All

Kindly note that ECHS members can not avail of medical cover or facilities from any Central/State Government /PSU or other government organizations.

Recently a case has come to light that the membership of a veteran ECHS member was canceled and his contribution amount forfeited. as he was availing Medical scheme benefits of a state government.

Those veterans who are covered by the ESI scheme of government are also not eligible.

Those members who fall under the above non-eligible group, have the facility to deposit their ECHS card till they become eligible again.

The orders on card deposit are attached.
