Rail Roko: FEED BACK
Dear Veterans/Sir,
1. Rail Roko, is an historical event which was conducted jointly by various Org/NGOs very successfully on 25 Mar 12, at Maur Mandi & Gidarbaha (Pb). It was org by JCO/ ORs mainly, since it was their problem, perhaps?
2. Civil Admn, Railways & Police all played lawful positive role very carefully, humanly & understandably. No public inconvenience was caused more than announced time. No damages/ casualty, no voilence, no faul language & disciplined was kept even in the highest tempo/ josh slogans.
3. It is reliably learnt that, Inteligence report, Police Report & Railways Reports, all spoke very high of ESM conduct & real problems being faced by ESM community. Govt is suggested to settle OROP & other issues.
4. Press media fully convinced, supported & high lighted our cause & problems prominently. 3 TV channels & all most all print media papers covered the event well, though site was from a remote area.
5. About 5000 JCO/ORs & only 5 officers joined up? Very sad. We all strongly want now that Shaheed Bhagat Singh must take rebirth, but in neighbors house & not in my house. JCO/ ORs will fight & settle Offrs problems also?
6. Encouragingly, Lot many new ESM Org also joined up. But most stayed away due to their ego/ financial problems. Very few offrs/ Org supported & encouraged Rail Roko parties from distance/ outside, where as fence sitters kept grabbing credit by various designs, as usual. Some prominent Org discouraged & even rang up/emailed their cadre to avoid joining.
7. Surprisingly, no ESM has written letter to press for this. We request good intellectual writers/talkers on emails, influentials and sympathisers must support the cause & press on Govt by writing like Gen Satbir & party, at least.
8. Local JCO/ NCOs spent more than Rs 75000/- to provide excellent adm back up, right on Rails. Lot many wealthy ESM may kindly contribute toward this noble, bold, risky & befitting activity for Justice to we all. This would be a nice gesture & personal duty. After all no body is doing all this for his Son's marriage. No ESM would come begging, I assure you. Your kind sp will go a long way in future to keep the struggle on for Justice.

Dear Veteran Col Sohi,
Presently I am in USA to visit my grand children after a long gap. I shall be back in Bangalore in May. I shall get in touch with you.
Though it is sad that we have to cry for attention from this unsympathetic Bharat Sarkar, I am sure it has taken this wake up call seriously.
