The Indian Army has reportedly initiated disciplinary proceedings, including court-martial action, against a Major General and several other officers in connection with an alleged recruitment irregularity at the Service Selection Centre (SSC), Kapurthala. According to media reports, the officers are accused of accepting illegal gratification in the selection process of officer candidates for the Armed Forces.
