ECHS CLAIMS - NA MEDICINES - SUBMIT ON LINE FOR EARLY APPROVAL

Dear Veterans,
1. Shortage of medicine in ECHS clinics is well known to all of us which has forced the beneficiaries to first purchase the prescribed medicines from the market and then submit a claim to the policlinic for reimbursement of the cost of medicines so purchased from the market.
2. Over the period the number of claims being submitted have increased. Quoting the figures at NOIDA Policlinic the number crosses 100 claims submitted in a day. These claims have to be processed on line by the claim cell of the clinic which entails scanning all documents and then uploading them on UTIILS site (https://www.echsbpa.utiitsl.com) .
3. It is a time consuming process for the limited staff auth to the clinics. As on date the time taken is around two months before the claims are forwarded to the BPA on line and the claim ID is generated.
4. In 2021 the ECHS-BPA had introduced an on line module where the claimants could submit their claims on line directly to the BPA. Some of us are already using this system thereby cutting down the delays as the Claim ID is straight way generated for the claim.
5. The complete process was placed in our web portal and shared with our members in 2021. We once again suggest that one should resort to on line submission wherever possible with the help of the detailed instructions on the step by step process given in the web post as under:-

6. It is a simple process open the URL https://www.echsbpa.utiitsl.com/ECHS/BeneficiaryLogin.jsp
log in with your 12 digit ECHS card Number 0000 02x0 xxxx and your registered 10 digit Mob Number 995xxxxxx1, click on Get OTP for log in. Insert the OTP received and you are on the claim page. Now proceed as per instructions given in the web post.
7. Before starting scan the Prescription cum NA issued by the Policlinic , Medical bill from the pharmacy, ECHS CARD, CANCELLED Bank Chq or first page of the passbook simply by using the scanning APP on your mobile phone, Keep these pdf files on your desk top and then proceed , in ten minutes you are done. Down load the contingent bill from the site print attach the above documents and submit to the policlinic.
