DA hike frozen?
Dearness Allowance (DA) for central government employees remains stuck at 58% as the Union Cabinet skips a decision for the January–June 2026 cycle. While the delay has sparked rumours of a freeze, experts say the hike is only postponed due to procedural and fiscal alignment with the 8th Pay Commission transition.
