Foundation stone has been laid for the construction of a new hospital premises in Pune.
The newly constructed hospital will be 1047 bedded ground plus six storied building and is being built near the Military Hospital Cardio Thoracic Centre, Pune on Kondhwa road. This hospital on completion would be named as Command Hospital (Research & Referral) Southern Command, Pune. 
Apart from providing comprehensive health care to its dependant service clientele, this hospital would also remain associated with the premier Armed Forces Medical College.
