Dear Veterans,

 

1. Have you asked your Pension Paying Bank to convert your Pension Account to DSP (Def Salary package) Account, if not please do it so that you do not lose the advantages the banks are offering to you.  PNB facilty is attached similarly SBI , HDFC and other banks are also offering benefits.

 

2. By now most would have given their life certificates, any way the Govt has extended the date to 28 Feb 22.

 

3.  Donot forget to check your TDS with your pension bank, and provide proofs of savings and deductions . Donot forget to tell the bank whether you will be opting for OLD or the New Regime of Income Tax.

 

4.  Similarly check your tax liability on your investments for the current financial year.

 

5.   Check the expiry date of your Canteen Cards when you purchase items from CSD next , it will be printed on your bill. If its exiring in 6 months take action to apply for new cards.

 

6.   Complete your documentation incl WILL if not done earlier, refer to your web site for any guidance.
