RECIPROCAL MEMBERSHIP
1. Defence Services Officers􀂶 Institute, Dhaula Kuan, New
Delhi-110010
have mutually entered into an agreement to extend all the facilities
of this
Institutes to the bona fide members on reciprocal basis with the
following
Institutes/Clubs. This agreement will commence from the date of
signing of this
MOU and shall continue until terminated for any reason whatsoever, by
giving
a 60 days􀂶 notice by either party.

Terms & Conditions
2. The terms and conditions, as listed below, will govern the
reciprocal
arrangements and members shall abide by them at all times:-
(a) The reciprocal arrangement will apply only to Armed Force
Officers, both serving and retired and their families who are bona
fide
permanent members of the respective Institutes/Clubs. However,
civilian
Members will not be permitted to utilise the services of this
Institute.
(b) Reciprocal facilities will be provided only to members visiting
the
city and not to members who have taken permanent residence in the city
where the reciprocal Institute/Club is located.
(c) Members seeking facility at the Institute/Club should be in
possession of their valid membership card or smart card issued by the
Secretary or such person authorised by the Institute/Club.
(d) Visiting members should sign their entry with details in a
register
maintained for the purpose at the main reception counter.
(e) Visiting members may avail the facilities of the Institute for a
maximum of 15 days in a month.
(f) No credit facility shall be available to reciprocal members
visiting
the Institute. All payments are to be made through the use of Smart
Cards System of the Institute/Club being visited. Reciprocal
membership
charges of Rs 50/- will be chargeable per visit.
(g) The visiting members will abide by all the Rules/Bye-Laws and
discipline of the visiting Institute/Club. Any breach of these
provisions
will debar the visiting members from future use of the institute/Club.
The decision of the authorized person of the host Institute/Club, on
such
matters, will be final and binding on the visiting members.
(h) Any damages/losses made/incurred, by the visiting members will
be made good by the visiting member before leaving the Institute/Club.
The parent club/Institute shall not be responsible to compensate for
the
damages or loss caused by the visiting member.
(j) All facilities will be extended to the visiting members as per the
prevailing charges and rules of the Institute/Club.
(k) All dependants of the members, holding membership cards of the
reciprocal Institute/Club, may accompany the member.
(l) Proof of identity i.e. services Identity Cards for serving
officers
and retired officers Identity Cards for retired officers, will be
produced
on demand.
(m) Maximum of 10 guests in a month and not more than 4 in a day
will be permitted. Guest charges will be at par with charges of the
Institute/Club being visited.
(n) Facilities which need prior booking like Residential Suits, Party
Rooms and Banquette Halls will be booked against 100% advance
payment.
(o) Any cancellations of booking of Residential Suits, Party Rooms
and Banquette Halls will attract cancellation charges as laid down in
DSOI Rules.
3. Dress Regulations of the Institute as indicated bellow is for
strict
compliance of all the members, including temporary and reciprocal
members,
their children, guests and others.
(a) Members will ensure that that proper decorum with regard to
wearing of dress in the Institute is always maintained.
(b) Under no circumstances a gentleman will be permitted to enter the
Institute in Jeans, Salwar-Kameez, Dhoti, Kurta, Pyjama, Shorts,
Tshirts
without collar or with slogan printed on it. No Chappals, Flotters,
Bathroom sleepers are permitted to be worn inside the Institute. Sikh
members will wear Turban and not Phatkas. This is equally applicable
to the dependent of the Members.
(c) Ladies (including young ladies of 14 years and above), are
requested to be appropriately dressed in a comparable degree of
formality and be attired as per norms, customs, and traditions of our
society and culture. Ladies are permitted to wear jeans, however, in
order to maintain required decorum, they are requested not to wear
faded, ripped, torn, distressed and low waist jeans.
4. DSOI, Dhaula Kuan extends all the sports facilities to the
Reciprocal
Members also on payment of sports charges as applicable. Facilities
include
Billiards, Card room, Swimming Pool, Tennis, Badminton etc.

Officers who are members of gurgaon DSOI can use Delhi DSOI. Then please permit
Members of Delhi club to use Gurgaon club if they are local residents of gurgaon.
