Dear Mr Roy,
I happened to notice a practical 'joke' being played on Indians who travel by INDIGO Airlines who seek NON-VEG preparations on flights. This may be intentional!!!
INDIGO is serving "CERTIFIED HALAL" preparations to all; irrespective of the fact even if the passengers are NON-HALAL eaters. I am attaching the scan of relevant page.
A very fine printed message is appended at the end of the Page 2 of INDIGO TIFFIN as under
"All non-vegetarian meals are certified Halal on all flights"
My mail to the airlines did not get any response.
I wonder if this policy is
a) Approved by the Ministry of Aviation
and more importantly
b) If other airlines are also following the same food practice.
I look forward to your advise / suggestion(s) as to how to stop this anti-Indian practice. It is only 13 % of population is HALAL eating, then what forced the airlines to go for only HALAL certified preparations?!!!! Does this have some hidden agenda?
Rgds

Dear Purobi
Such so called "comedians" deserve to be horse-whipped.
I'm sending this email to all the right people in Radioone (its a joint venture with BBC). Now the only way out is for them to apologise on-air and prominently on their website
If they don't we'll take it further at the I&B Ministry level and with the DoT.

Subject: RadioOne - Public apology and enquiry
Dear Mr. Naveen Saxena,
This reference to my tweet sent to @943RadioOne on May 13, 2013 regarding the radically sexiest comment made by some comedian Mr. Sorabh (@hankypanty) on a morning program of yours. And your request for the details.
The incident goes like this:
"On May 13, 2013, in the morning program of Mr. Rishi K, some comedian called Sorabh, invited on the show, between 07.30 am and 7.42 am, went on to discuss about cheer leaders in IPL describing them in a language and manner unacceptable on a public radio channel.
His last comment, to which Mr. Rishi K never objected to, and which I for one cannot let pass, was that 'he would like to see women nanga'."
The fact that this went on air unabated and uncontrolled has left me with no choice but to demand an inquiry into this incident and a public apology.
I would request you to take a stern action in this matter and under advise to the undersigned.
Regards,
Purobi Ghosh Mohan
