How to Join the Group

Dear Administrator of Veterans India Group,

1. I am retired from Remount & Veterinary Corps on October 2, 1973 and have been living in the USA since April 1976. I am a US citizen and have had no problem with receipt of pension till 2023 when all hell broke loose with the introduction of SPARSH. Since then getting pension from CGDA is no less than getting teeth pulled.
2. At 94+ years of age with great discomfort and pain besides huge expense, I ventured a trip to Delhi in March to sort out pension issues. Alas, I could say that I was successful. The Life certificate that I had emailed was purportedly not received, as per SPARSH office in Delhi cant, so I gave them a hard copy. They advised that the life certificate should be identified and the payment of monthly pension would soon be restored.
3. Next two days I spent going from one Aadhar office to the other including their main well guarded office at Bangla Sahib Gurdwara Road as well as at Dhaula Kuan to be told that I can only get the Card if I have stayed in India for 182 days. There is a footnote on the form though, that the requirement of the period of stay can be waived BUT no one knew what exactly it meant and who indeed can give that dispensation. Hence, frustrated I returned home on March 13, 2025.
4. The good news is that CGDA has credited my pension for the month of March 2025, but the monthly pension for the months of December 2024,and January and February 2025 have not been paid. I do not know what should I do. As you are aware there are many websites that are fenced off so no one from  outside India can access them to lodge a grievance. Furthermore, I do not have an ID to log on because I do not have an Aadhar card.
5. I have read the latest instructions issued by the Min of Finance (Defence) CGDA that the NRIs and ND Gorkha Pensioners should now use sparsh...@gov.in for Life Certificate and other allied services which looks very encouraging and helpful but kindly advise me how can I get a login ID to access the main web site of Sparsh if I were to use a VPN and an Indian phone number. Also please let me know how can I join this wonderful group. I wish I had known about the existence of such a unique and helpful group. Never late even at 94+!!

The Adhar  situation is correct as stated by you. We are trying to get the SPARSH to accept other documents but so far no luck. Be assured you are not alone in this regard.

You may go through the attached document to raise various queries with SPARSH.

Non payment of arrears is being taken up by me with SPARSH

I have added you to my Google group where I share information on Pension and SPARSH.

KIndly share your Life certificate submitted.

Also share your Service Number and bank account number
