There was also the issue of attestation of the copies of the Aadhar card by a gazetted officer, which is an unnecessary requirement. Why can't self-attested copies be accepted, as is done for copies of the PAN cards? If at all verification is required this can be done by the OIC of the ECHS clinic. I hope this issue too is suitably addressed by ECHS.!
